What we handle for Electronics importers.

BIS CRS R-number, WPC ETA, BEE star labelling and ADD screening — all the bits that get electronics importers stuck.

  • BIS CRS registration mapped to actual IS standard for the model variant
  • WPC ETA for any wireless device — Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G/5G, satellite
  • BEE star labelling for refrigerators, ACs, geysers, lighting
  • ADD screening — China-origin LCD panels, hot-rolled steel, chemicals
  • Lithium-ion cell SoC ≤30% mandate (effective Jan 2026) compliance

FAQ

Common questions

Why does my model variant need a fresh BIS R-number when the parent SKU has one?

BIS R-numbers are SKU-specific. A model variant — different memory, different SoC, different display panel — typically requires a fresh registration unless it's covered under an explicitly multi-SKU R-number.

Do all electronics need WPC?

Only items with intentional radiators — Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, cellular, satellite. Pure wired devices (HDMI splitters, basic monitors) don't. We screen against the WPC notification 9/16 schedule.
