1. Who we are

Aurum Global Logistic ("Aurum", "we", "us") is a CBLR-licensed customs broker and freight forwarder operating from ICD Tughlakabad, New Delhi 110044. This privacy policy applies to the website aurumglobal.in and the personal data we collect through it.

2. Data we collect

We collect only the personal data you actively provide to us or that is generated automatically by your use of our website:

• Contact form data: Name, company name, phone number, and email address submitted via the contact form or WhatsApp enquiry flow.
• Enquiry details: Commodity descriptions, origin country, preferred port, and shipment context you include in your enquiry.
• Server logs: IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited — retained automatically by our hosting provider for up to 30 days for security and diagnostic purposes. We do not use this data for profiling.

We do not collect sensitive personal data (health, financial account details, biometrics) and we do not collect data from children under 18.

3. How we use your data

We use the personal data you submit solely to respond to your customs enquiry. Specifically:

• To prepare and send you a duty estimate, clearance plan, or freight quotation.
• To follow up on an open enquiry at your request.
• To comply with legal obligations as a CBLR-licensed entity (record-keeping obligations under Customs Broker Licensing Regulations 2018).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling, or targeted advertising. We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to any third party except as described in Section 4.

4. Data sharing

Your data is shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• WhatsApp: When you submit an enquiry via the WhatsApp button on our contact page, your data is transmitted to WhatsApp's servers (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) and processed under WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing WhatsApp's privacy policy at whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Legal requirement: If required by Indian law, court order, or regulatory authority (e.g., CBIC audit), we may disclose relevant records. We will notify you unless prohibited by law.
• Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, customer data may be transferred to a successor entity. You will be notified in advance.

We do not use advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics platforms that process your personal data outside of our control.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use no tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. The only cookies set are essential session cookies required for navigation (such as the mobile menu state), which do not identify you personally and are deleted when you close your browser.

Google Fonts: This website loads fonts from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com). Your IP address is transmitted to Google as a result. Google's processing of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). To avoid this, you may use a browser extension that blocks Google Fonts requests.

Font Awesome: This website loads icons from cdnjs.cloudflare.com (Cloudflare's CDN). Your IP address is transmitted to Cloudflare as part of the CDN request. Cloudflare's processing is governed by their privacy policy.

Enquiry data (name, contact details, and shipment details) is retained for 12 months from the date of your enquiry, after which it is securely deleted. If you become an active client of Aurum Global Logistic, your data is retained for the period required by CBLR 2018 regulations (5 years from the date of the last clearance).

7. Your rights under the DPDP Act 2023

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), you have the following rights as a Data Principal:

• Right to access: You may request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to correction: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Right to erasure: You may request deletion of your personal data where we no longer have a legal basis to retain it.
• Right to grievance redressal: You may raise a complaint with our Data Protection Officer (see Section 8). If unresolved, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India once constituted.
• Right to withdraw consent: Where our processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact our DPO at the details in Section 8. We will respond within 30 days.

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Our website is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is restricted to the principals of Aurum Global Logistic.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the website after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Governing law

This privacy policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
